Branded Client Gifts for a Philadelphia-based Catering Company

Last year, the team at Conner Catering in Philadelphia, PA reached out to us to improve their gifting strategy. They wanted a sleek, branded gift for their clients to receive upon booking their services. At the time, they were in the middle of a comprehensive re-brand, so showcasing their new logo on the gifts was important. They wanted a fun, celebratory gift to congratulate their clients on booking their venue and catering company. As Taylor, the Director of Weddings and Special Events at Conner Catering said, "something small but something that will put a smile on [their] clients' faces."

With that in mind, and with brand identity guidelines from their designer, we got to work on a gift design. With guidance from Taylor, our corporate gifting team created 4 gift designs with estimates for review. Taylor and her team chose their favorite, made some small changes, and chose how they wanted to incorporate their branding into each gift.

The final gift suite was simple and elegant. It included our letterpress his and her vow books (or his and his/hers and hers for same-sex couples), a set of gold minimalist pens, custom branded Champagne Bubbles candies from Sugarfina, and branded packaging including a custom foil-stamped greeting card/envelope and letterpress belly band to wrap the box.

After the final design was approved, we moved forward sourcing their custom products - frequently checking-in with Taylor for her guidance and approval on the various custom designs. We sent quick photos as products arrived (see above) and reached out with any questions that we needed clarification on. Once we had all the custom products in our warehouse, we put together samples of the final gifting suite and sent the photos over to Taylor to place her first order. She chose to stagger her shipments over the course of the year, so we were happy to store her products at no additional charge until she's ready to send each gift.

Once the design process is complete, our ordering process for custom gifts is simple: when a client is ready to ship a gift, they just send over the recipients' name(s) and address(es), and we'll reply back with an invoice for the remaining cost. We've even kept Taylor updated through a shared Google Sheet tracking all shipped gifts and their respective tracking information, so she can rest assured that each package has arrived safely to its recipient.
