Gift Box FAQ
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We introduced our custom box builder app to help our customers create a unique gift box packed with personalized products for their loved ones. Here's a quick guide to building a box:
Basics: Our boxes have a base price of $12, which includes our keepsake gray linen gift box or matte black gift box (either our 7 3/4 x 5 3/4 x 3 1/4" petite size, or 10 1/4 x 8 1/4 x 4 1/4" signature size, depending on the size and quantity of items selected), ivory or black paper shred, luxe 4 Bar folding greeting card with matching Paper Source envelope, an optional handwritten message of your choice, and hand wrapping.
Ordering multiple boxes to the same address? Please add custom calligraphy tags from our product selection. If you do not want calligraphy tags, we will provide notes with descriptions of the box contents on the outside of each box to identify them.
Step One: Choose either a gray or black gift box, then select the items you'd like to include the box. As you work through your selections, you'll see a thumbnail of each item in the header of the builder. Want to remove it from the box? Just click the tiny "x" in the upper right corner. You can keep track of the price of the box as you work through it in the lower lefthand corner of the builder.
Choosing a personalized item? Make sure to provide the customization details before adding the item to your box! We personalize many of our items and want to make sure we get yours exactly right.
Step Two: Select your card. Choose from nine original greeting card designs. Each card is a 4 Bar card size and comes with a matching Paper Source envelope.
Step Three: Write your message. Type out your message to the recipient, and we'll handwrite it on the card for you! Want to write the card yourself? Click the "leave card blank" checkbox and we'll leave the card blank and outside the box for you to fill out.
Sending directly to the recipient? Make sure to sign your name! We do not include any sort of invoice in our gift box packages, so they'll need your name to know who sent it.
Once you're happy with your message, click the "Add to Cart" button at the bottom of the screen, and you're finished! You can either keep shopping or go to your cart to checkout.
HOW ARE THE BOXES PACKED?
We pack each box by hand in our Pittsburgh studio. The products you choose are placed thoughtfully in ivory or black paper shred in sturdy, keepsake gift boxes. Each gift box is packed carefully in bubble wrap before being put in the shipping box so that items don't break or shift during shipment.
I HAVE MULTIPLE BOXES IN MY ORDER - HOW DO I KNOW WHICH IS WHICH?
When we have larger orders shipping to the same address, we request that you please add custom calligraphy tags from our product selection. If you do not want calligraphy tags, we will provide notes with descriptions of the box contents on the outside of each box to identify them.
HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE TO SHIP?
Gift boxes without custom calligraphy tags ship within 1-2 business days. Boxes with tags may take up to 3-4 business days to process prior to the shipping method selected at checkout. Boxes with robes may take up to 5-10 business days to process. Shipping within the U.S. is typically 2-4 days, and 7-10 days to Canada, depending on the shipping method selected at checkout.
CAN YOU HOLD MY GIFT BOX SO THAT IT ARRIVES ON A SPECIFIC DATE?
Absolutely! Feel free to email us or just leave the date you'd like it to arrive on in the "notes" section at checkout and we can hold your order to ship within your desired timeframe.
CAN YOU SHIP TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES?
The easiest way to ship multiple boxes to multiple addresses is to use our multiple shipping address tool in your cart prior to checkout. Have a larger order and looking to expedite the process? Let us know and we'd be happy to provide you with a custom invoice.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
Due to the hand packed, personalized nature of the gift boxes, all gift box sales are final. We are, however, happy to discuss exchanges for color or size for individual items within the box on a case-by-case basis. Please email info@foxblossom.com for more information.
